林教授,我因为静坐时间短,功夫浅,还未尝到法味,经常有一种坚持不下来的感觉,修行有起有伏,好象是一种负担一样,又因自己一个人在家里修,不是共修,又没有人督促,又没有持戒,也没有前方便,又要上班,又有家庭,烦恼又多,觉得真正修行非出家不可,而出家又没找到合适的道场,所以有时又生出许多烦恼来,请问林教授,我该如何使功夫有所长进,如何能尝法乐?

(1)這是所有學佛者都遇到的共同問題。
(2)不要有對抗煩惱、對抗生活的心理。不妨每天早上和黃昏固定散步半小時,輕鬆地一直覺知腳步的移動,以這個方式當作禪修,練習一二個月,使自己漸漸達成散步時內心沒有雜念,清楚地覺知腳步的移動。這是核心的法門,也可以檢驗自己的功夫有無長進,並能漸漸嘗到法樂。
