答： 業障有一定的定義，舉三論為證如下。
◆發智論卷第十一 說：「云何業障？謂五無間業。」 ◆大毘婆沙論卷第一百一十五說 ：「云何業障？謂五無間業。何等為五？一害母。二害父。三害阿羅漢。四破僧。五惡心出佛身血。」 ◆瑜伽師地論卷第二十九 說 ：「言業障者，謂五無間業及餘所有故思造業、諸尤重業，彼異熟果若成就時，能障正道，令不生起，是名業障。」
